This is an absolutely incredible chance for an experienced PR Director to head up a new agency, with all the support, funding and infrastructure provided by a major player in the media world.
As PR Director you will lead the development of the vision, the brand, the business plan and the resourcing requirements, all with the unwavering support of a major media business who are fully engaged in making this a stunning success and who work in an extremely collaborative, supportive way, ensuring that everyone is part of the success, not one individual.
From day one you'll have access to significant resource and prospective clients (all of whom have pre-existing relationships with the parent company), so you won't be lacking in opportunities. It goes without saying that you've got a track record of winning pitches and developing long term opportunities with new and existing clients, with a sharp commercial approach.
What we're looking for you to bring to the table is a proven PR agency background, a clear understanding of all the modern PR channels, a clear commercial focus and a willingness to remain hands-on, whilst also being brilliant at developing strategy for clients.
Ensuring effective communication with the board you will prepare annual business plans and budgets along with quarterly management reports. As a natural leader you will ensure all members of staff have clear objectives and are fully equipped to deliver the best possible work to clients. Sector wise a solid b2b focus is important, along with experience of dealing with both fast growing SMEs and large coporates.
To be considered you will be a seasoned agency PR professional - maybe you're an Account Director looking to step up to an exciting new challenge, or maybe you're already a Director but lack the forward progression you're craving. We're also very open to people who have a mixed agency and in-house background. A solid knowledge of the Midlands PR market would be a considerable advantage.
