Despite the challenges of 2020, the technology sector has done quite well so naturally, we’re hiring for clients in this industry.
Pitch is supporting a thriving software company in recruiting a new Business Development Executive into their team for the new year. This is not a traditional sales role….the Business Development Executive will manage client relationships and identify new areas of business through research and a consultative approach.
Working closely with Account Managers and reporting into the Commercial Leads, you will be responsible for the following:
• Working with the accounts team to develop account strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients through phone calls, social channels, and meetings when required.
• Understanding and responding to detailed client briefs and creating engaging, targeted project bid proposals.
• Driving customer engagement through regular communication and business development activities.
• Operate proactively in a professional and commercial manager.
This is not a cold calling sales role and does not operate on a commission structure. This is a great opportunity for someone who has come from a sales environment and is now looking to move into more of an account management/consultative business development environment. You will be working with large corporate clients on a global scale.
The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, degree qualified, and come from technology, software, or digital solution background (in-house or agency).
This role will initially be remote but will be required to travel into the office once it is acceptable to do so. Travel may be required for this role from time to time, but all travel will be covered by the business and a driving license is not required as the office is commutable by public transport.
